Castillo del Moro is a building that stands out as you're heading out of San Jose, towards the route 32 highway. It's located on a street corner, and you can't miss it with it's towers, gargoyles and unusual detailing.

The building was designed by a catalan architect, and built somewhere during the mid 1900s. It's influence is clearly Mujadin, having details and forms similar to those seen in Spanish buildings such as La Alhambra.

In the 1990's the building was evaluated and protected. It was renovated and part of it rented out for a restaurant.
